The European Democratic Party said in an Oct. 25 statement the long lines of voters at polling places across Serbia are a "sign of hope for a democratic, European future."
In a post on the X social media network, the European Democratic Party said, "The extraordinary queues at polling stations across Serbia and among its diaspora are a powerful sign of hope for a democratic, European future, free from corruption, organized crime and Vucic’s grip on power." "Despite electoral fraud concerns and overwhelming government control of the media, real political change may finally be within reach," the post reads further.
The party said that "Serbia could be about to emerge from a long, dark tunnel." "We are all rooting for you, Serbia!" it concluded in the post.
