Slovenia has confirmed 1,499 new coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours while five people have died of the disease there, the Slovenian government announced on Oct. 27, adding that a total of 25,579 people had contracted the disease since the outbreak of the epidemic while the death toll was 256.
Over the past 24 hours Croatia confirmed 1,413 new cases of the coronavirus while 18 people have died of the disease, the National Civil Protection Headquarters announced on Oct. 27 adding that, since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 38,621 cases had been registered while 470 people died.
Over the past 24 hours 1,534 new cases have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina where twenty people died.
The death rate in North Macedonia last week rose by 71.4%, the Public Health Institute announced on Oct. 27. North Macedonian Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and was self-isolating.
