The Enikon Aerospace company from Zagreb will open a production facility in Vukovar in seven months.
The firm deals in preparing and applying finishes on parts of commercial and business plane interiors for Airbus and Boeing, Nezavisne Novine has reported.
The result of negotiations over the past four months were the signing of a contract by Vukovar Mayor Ivan Penava and Enikon Aerospace GM Marko Josip Andrijanic on the leasing of a workspace in the Vukovar business and innovative center, Jutarnji List has reported.
“Our company has three facilities in Germany and one each in the U.S. and Croatia, specifically in Zagreb and this investment will expand our business in the aviation industry,” Andrijanic said. He added that the investment, in addition to new jobs, would open the possibility of business cooperation with local entrepreneurs and suppliers in various segments.
