State Secretary at the Montenegrin Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism Damir Davidovic has stated that this tourist season has been the worst so far, with a decline of more than 86%, while the director of the National Tourism Organization, Zeljka Radak-Kukavicic, has pointed out that expectations for the upcoming winter season are not good either, website CdM (cdm.me) reports.

Speaking at a session of the Chamber of Commerce's Tourism and Hospitality Association Board, she said that the topic must be discussed very soon and that it must be estimated whether the money from the third aid package for the economy could be used for the preparation of ski restorts.

"Over the course of nine months, just 16.6% i.e. 16.9% of tourist visits and overnight stays were registered in Montenegro," said Radak-Kukavicic.
