Serbian Gov't Unfreezes Price of Milk

At a session on Sept. 30, the Serbian government "unfroze" the price of UHT milk with 2.8 percent milk fat, which was previously limited to RSD128.99, while the margin on all types of UHT milk is 10 percent.

The ban on milk exports has been extended until Oct. 31.

The new maximum price of granulated sugar is RSD109.99 per kilogram, while the highest permitted price of fresh chicken is RSD319 per kilogram.

Cooking oil, flour and pork prices remain unchanged.

The decree capping prices of oil derivatives has been extended until Oct. 31, whereas the decision on banning diesel fuel exports has been annulled.
