Serbia’s Second-Quarter Foreign Exchange Inflow from Tourism 13 Percent Higher Compared to the Same Period Last Year

In the first eight months of this year, Serbia’s foreign exchange inflow from tourism reached EUR1.9 billion, 13 percent more compared to the same period in 2023, the Tourist Organization of Serbia announced on Oct. 21.

"After the first six months already, we could predict that this year will be even better than the record-breaking 2023," said the director of the organization, Marija Labovic.

The Tourist Organization recalled in a press release that according to the National Bank of Serbia, the 2023 foreign exchange inflow from tourism was EUR2.5 billion, eight percent more than in 2022.
