Agreement Only on Continuing Dialogue

Negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina (European Council/Mario Salerno)

The Belgrade–Pristina dialogue on the normalization of relations, under the auspices of the European Union, continued after a six-month hiatus with the first meeting of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti. The statements made after the latest round of the dialogue by the two leaders, and also by EU officials, indicate that a comprehensive agreement on the normalization of relations will not be reached anytime soon.
