Belgrade’s “Audible Silence”

Last week Kosovo police shut down buildings housing the Serbian government’s remaining institutions in northern Kosovo, keeping them blocked. There is no sign for now that Kosovo police will withdraw, given the lack of a serious reaction from the West’s leading nations once again. What is different compared to earlier similar situations is the visibly toned down and more moderate reaction from Belgrade, which borders on disinterest.
