Simmering tensions between Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia received a new dimension after Progressive MP Nebojsa Bakarec “called out” Socialist leader Ivica Dacic. The latest chapter in the conflict suggests that this is not another attempt to discipline the Socialists, but something bigger – maybe Aleksandar Vucic’s wish to make up for his loss of voters by taking over part of the Dacic Socialists’ electorate.
