Serbia has completed a three-year arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) – the Policy Coordination Instrument better known as a “caretaker,” as it provides for advisory rather than financial support. The Serbian government has announced that talks about the new arrangement will begin by the end of the month, securing the consistence of reforms, but it is still unclear if a loan will be arranged to provide for possible contingencies.
