Opposition Disunited, Authorities Not Making Any Concessions

There have been no significant changes on the Serbian political stage over the past month, while polarization between the regime and the opposition remains vast. There is, however, no trust among the leading opposition organizations either, which cannot harmonize joint participation in the upcoming inter-party dialogue on election conditions mediated by the European Parliament. The authorities have not even hinted at any readiness to greatly lessen their pressure on opponents and the media, while simultaneously taking a “sharper” tone where the EU is concerned.
