There’s a hardly a project in Serbia’s recent history that stirred so much controversy or alerted the public so strongly over its environmental effects like the Jadar campaign by the British-Australian corporation Rio Tinto. The expectation is that the project is yet to cause problems, as the authorities in Serbia, spearheaded by President Aleksandar Vucic, want to get it off the ground at any cost.
