A new, second protest rally dubbed Environmental Uprising had an unexpected epilogue, seeing as it has created numerous conflicts and divisions and led to the disappointment of many. Unlike the first big environmental protest rally in Belgrade, held in April, which brought optimism and hope in the strengthening of the movement, last week’s gathering contributed to the polarization of a portion of the opposition public which is still not dying down.
