Crisis of Ruling Coalition

The opposition’s unsuccessful attempt to oust the pro-European government of Zoran Zaev has led to fresh turmoil on the Macedonian political scene. This is particularly expressed in relations between the smaller ethnic Albanian parties that have supported the initiative for toppling the government, launched by the largest opposition party VMRO-DPMNE of Hristijan Mickoski.
