The Montenegrin government led by Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic has seen its first anniversary in an atmosphere of political tensions and an open crisis, and with a constant threat of collapse due to its failure to meet the public’s expectations and a lack of support from a number of parties that constitute the parliamentary majority. An opposition initiative for a vote of no confidence in the government could also mark its end.
