Leaders of Serbia’s two largest parties, President Aleksandar Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party and Ivica Dacic’s Socialist Party of Serbia, made a deal late last week as to how to run in elections on April 3. The two parties have decided to do it separately in parliamentary polls, as well as in local elections in Belgrade and a few other cities, and the Socialists accepted to support the Progressive party’s presidential nominee, if it is Vucic.
