Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is facing strong pressure from the West these days to impose sanctions against Russia because of its invasion of Ukraine, but also from right-wing political parties and public figures not to do so no matter what. Numerous observers say that Vucic will sooner or later join the EU’s sanctions against Russia, as even some from the ruling circles have indicated.
