The announcement that the Serbian Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor has raised an indictment against four Croatian pilots for crimes in military and police Operation Storm has once again heated up relations between Belgrade and Zagreb. Even though a court has yet to confirm the indictment, the announcement itself that former officers of the Croatian Army might be prosecuted has sparked a number of strong reactions in Croatia, from denial that any missiles were fired to a new round of heated discussion of the Serbian court’s universal jurisdiction.
