The European Commission’s new annual report on Serbia, unveiled on Oct. 12, shows that the country has regressed in an area for the first time since 2014, when accession talks with the EU began. The area in question is Chapter 31 (foreign, security and defense policy) in which Serbia received the lowest mark (1 out of 5) due to its non-alignment with the Union’s measures against Russia.
