Radicalization Without Incidents

Last week’s decision on leaving positions in Kosovo institutions is the most radical move the Serb community in northern Kosovo has made since Aleksandar Vucic came to power in Serbia. Although at first glance that move may seem like a sovereign decision by the Serb leaders in Kosovo’s north, it is not, rather Belgrade is behind, or more specifically Vucic, who in that way may have used up the last trump card to finally bring about the forming of a Community/Association of Serb Municipalities.
