The proceeding point for the national budget for 2023, which the Parliament of Serbia passed on Dec. 9, was that inflation rates would continue to be very high and that the economic crisis caused by the war in Ukraine would boost the cost of energy supply and the losses of public enterprises in the sector, which the state will have to finance.
