Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic addressed the public in the evening on Jan. 23 regarding the latest version of the European Union’s plan for Kosovo, which was the reason for his meeting with the Western five in Belgrade last week. Vucic said that Serbia had been threatened with the suspension of European integration, stopping and withdrawal of investments, as well as with political and economic sanctions, should it reject the plan. The public, however, was not acquainted with the content of the text and it also isn’t clear from Vucic’s address what exactly he replied to the representatives of the EU, the U.S., Germany, France, and Italy.
