Since 2015, the regime of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has been holding a central state ceremony to mark anniversaries of the NATO bombing of FR Yugoslavia. The Serbian president is using those gatherings, attended by a large number of citizens, with Vucic and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik as speakers every year, to increase a nationalist and anti-Western narrative in the country and to turn the society increasingly to the right, i.e. to achieve his own political goals.
