The latest crisis in northern Kosovo, which began on May 26, has further escalated with the arrest of three Kosovo police officers last week, which has become the burning point of contention between Belgrade and Pristina. There is no solution in sight as yet, since neither the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, nor the Kosovo prime minister, Albin Kurti, are showing signs of relenting.
