The creation of a parliamentary committee to probe the facts and circumstances that led to two mass murders at the beginning of May has revealed that the gap between the two opposition poles in Serbia – the pro-European part of the opposition and nationalists – is widening. This increases the chances for an early election in Belgrade next year, in addition to local, provincial and parliamentary ones.
