A Businessman in the Cabinet
Mona Hotel Management director and owner Tomislav Momirovic’s appointment as minister of construction, transport and infrastructure is one of the biggest surprises in Prime Minister Ana Brnabic’s new cabinet.
His predecessor in the previous cabinet is Zorana Mihajlovic, an official of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, whose work was always praised by Vucic. Because of that and the fact that a number of large-scale infrastructure projects were begun during her term, Momirovic’s appointment practically came out of the blue.
