Over the past two months, a deputy to the Freedom and Justice Party’s president Borko Stefanovic has been the leading advocate of anti-Russian sanctions. Stefanovic, the new chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, has been using the new post on almost a daily basis to underline the need to join the European Union’s sanctions against Russia, warning that the country must not “stay on the wrong side of the wall that has divided Europe again.”
