The return of Professor Tanja Miscevic to the Serbian cabinet was one of the biggest surprises when Serbian Progressive Party president Aleksandar Vucic unveiled the composition of the new cabinet. Despite Miscevic’s appointment as minister of European integration at first glance looking like something that will speed up Serbia’s European road, she will not play a decisive role in the dynamics of that process as key decisions in it are brought elsewhere.
