The revelation that Sasa Borojevic, widely known for spreading various conspiracy theories, will be one of the candidates running on the ruling coalition ticket in the upcoming Belgrade election, has for good reason drawn major attention from the domestic public and provoked numerous reactions. The fact that Borojevic will be listed 21st on the ruling coalition ticket can be interpreted as a reward for years of spreading misinformation, but it is more likely that this is an attempt by Aleksandar Vucic to “steal” some of the votes from Professor Branimir Nestorovic, also known for disseminating conspiracy theories.
