The Serbian government decided on March 18 to close the Nis Airport "Constantine the Great" for departures until further notice, with the aim of suppressing the spread of the corona virus.
During the session, the government also adopted the decision according to which health and sanitation inspectors would pronounce measures of compulsory medical observation and mandatory self-isolation also in verbal form, and not only in writing as was the case before.
The government also decided to extend the right of entry into Serbia to military convoys and transports which possess the necessary permissions.
"The Serbian government is appealing on the people once again, especially on the elderly, to fully adhere to all of the government's instructions, with the aim of preserving their health," the statement reads.
