Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic pleaded in Belgrade on June 9 on neighboring states to jointly pass a decision on reopening borders.
"We plead on all of the countries in the region to reach a joint decision so that each citizen does not have to look for ways to get through borders. There should be a joint approach on this subject," Dacic said after meeting Bosnian Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic.
He also thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for reopening its borders for Serbian citizens after Hungary and Bulgaria.
"The Greek border is supposed to open on June 15, but there has been no progress in talks with our other partners. We, unfortunately, should hold bilateral talks with each of them," he added.
Turkovic thanked Dacic for inviting her to talk on shared issues. "We think that this is an excellent start for cooperation: We need to talk, only through talks can we solve open things," Turkovic said.
