Six persons died of consequences of the corona virus in Serbia in the past 24 hours and 359 new cases were registered, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on July 2.
Since the start of the epidemic, 15,195 people have been infected and 287 have died. There are 81 persons on ventilators.
The number of active cases is 1996, while 418,879 people in Serbia have been tested so far.
The government announced on July 2 that there were currently more than 260,000 so-called PCR tests in stock, that this stock was being filled up regularly in accordance with requirements and that "any talk about the lack of tests is not true."
The government stated that Serbia was by far the best in the region according to the number of tested people and that the current protocol for testing was being honored in full.
