A total of 324 patients have been admitted to four Covid hospitals in the Clinical Center in Nis, and 11 have been using ventilators due to severe symptoms, an assistant to the director of the Center, Miroslava Zivkovic, said in a comment for the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) on July 13.
She explained that of the total number of hospitalized patients 121 had tested positive for the coronavirus. Zivkovic also said that 10 children had been admitted to a children's Covid hospital, and that four of them had tested positive for the virus.
According to Zivkovic, the Covid hospitals in the city still had beds available for new patients. She underlined that the organization of the work of the Clinical Center was very specific and complex, as it's staff cared for Covid- and non-Covid patients from the southeast of Serbia.
