Zlatibor Loncar
In Serbia over the past 24 hours another 13 persons died of the coronavirus, Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar announced at a July 14 news conference held by the Crisis Headquarters.
He said that in the same time period 8,659 people were tested, of whom 344 were positive. He added that 203 people had been hospitalized and that 170 were on ventilators.
The number of active cases is 4,574 while a total of 507,002 have been tested. The total death toll is 418 while the number of cured is 13,991.
Loncar said that 3,225 people were examined in covid hospitals in Belgrade alone the previous day. "70 health workers are positive and have been hospitalized while 50 are in self-isolation," Loncar said adding that these statistics proved how dire the situation was.
