As part of a partnership project of the Serbian and Swiss governments, called Education to Employment, a program for employers has been initiated to provide financial and technical support in the amount of RSD50 million, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) stated on July 27.

The support program, dubbed Employees to Suit Your Business, will make it easier for employers to select, train, prepare and employ new workers.

For the purpose of improving the position of youth in the labor market, the project will carry out workplace training in the Raska, Rasina, Pirot, Nisava, Pomoravlje, Zajecar, Macva, Sumadija and Moravica districts.

The aim of the Education to Employment project is to increase employment, especially of youth, and indirectly faster, sustainable and inclusive economic development of Serbia. This is the third call issued as part of the project, which is worth EUR14.3 million in total.
