There were 95 new cases of infection with the coronavirus in Serbia in the past 24 hours, while two people died from the consequences of the infection, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on Sept. 3.
There are 545 people currently in hospitals, 41 of them on ventilators.
A total of 718 people have died since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, and the virus has been registered in 31,6767 people.
Epidemiologist Predrag Kon stated on Sept. 3 that the epidemiological situation in Serbia was still uncertain, because the virus is present and the sensitivity of the population is high.
"The situation is more favorable than it used to be, but the numbers are not likely to drop to zero. Belgrade had seven confirmed cases in one day, which is the least since June 1, when it had four newly infected people," Kon said in an interview to TV Pink.
