Five People Die, 1,328 Newly Infected With Coronavirus In Serbia

A record high of 1,328 confirmed cases of the coronavirus infection was registered in Serbia in the past 24 hours, while five people died from the consequences of the infection, raising the total number of fatalities since the start of the epidemic to 803, it was announced on Oct. 28.

According to the figures of the Institute for Public Health of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut", 9690 people were tested in the past 24 hours. There are currently 946 covid patients in hospitals, 39 of whom on ventilators.

1,308,639 people have been tested in Serbia since the start of the epidemic and the presence of the virus has been confirmed in 42,208 of them.
