The president of the Dveri (Doors) Movement, Bosko Obradovic, stated on Oct. 28 that the Serbian Parliament was not electing the new government, but a transitional one, "which is to handle the topical affairs until the early general elections."
Obradovic emphasized in a written statement that the Dveri was proposing that the early parliamentary elections are held by June 2021 at the latest.
"In view of the fact that the parliament is illegitimate, formed on the basis of the non-democratic and unconstitutional elections and without the opposition, such a degraded state of democracy and parliamentarianism in Serbia is unsustainable and we must urgently move towards the early parliamentary elections," Obradovic declared, as announced by Dveri.
