Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar on Nov. 3 said, that a total of 3,118 examinations had been conducted in Covid-19 outpatient departments in Belgrade over the past 24 hours, of which 2,200 were initial examinations, state public broadcaster RTS has reported.
While handing five ventilators, a donation of the German government to the Clinical Center of Serbia, Loncar said that hospital КBC Zvezdara, which has been turned into a Covid-19 hospital, had admitted more than 80 patients on Nov. 2, adding that over 90 percent of capacity of the Hospital for Infectious and Tropical Diseases has been used.
German Ambassador to Serbia Thomas Schieb said that aside from five ventilators, worth EUR145,000, the German government’s donation also included disposable gloves, adding that a German vaccine producer had ensured 200,000 flu vaccines.
