A total of 480 patients are currently being treated in the temporary COVID-19 hospital in Belgrade Stark-Arena, of which 350 are on oxygen, the infirmary’s coordinator, Vlado Batnozic, stated on Dec. 14.
Batnozic told the RTS public service that the Arena has more room and can admit more patients, given that its capacity is 510 beds, but that the oxygen capacities are full.
“Lately, patients with more severe symptoms have been arriving, with double pneumonia, and they usually stay here for at least 10 days,” Batnozic said.
According to him, the temporary hospital has 60 doctors and 100 nurses taking care of the patients, of which 172 are female and 308 male.
