Epidemiologist Predrag Kon said on Dec. 16 that the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia would check the documentation of all vaccines against the coronavirus that arrived in the country and would potentially perform additional safety checks for every series delivered.
Kon told Pink TV that he had not seen the vaccination priority plan and pointed out that medical workers were certainly at the top of the priority list. In his words, vaccination is a very serious matter and the situation in Serbia "has not been so serious in decades."
When asked about the adoption of new measures, Kon said that the medical portion of the Crisis Headquarters was "more restrictive," adding that its members could not take care of the country's economy.
