Dacic: Vjosa Osmani’s Statement on Annulment of Brussels Agreement is Rubbish

Serbian assembly speaker Ivica Dacic on Feb. 23 said that the statements by Kosovo acting President Vjosa Osman that she would seek from U.S. President Joseph Biden to annul the Brussels and Washington Agreements “is rubbish and fussing,” adding it would be stupid even to comment on them.

“Does Osmani think that we are living in the ‘90s when they had the attention and support of the world? They are no longer the favorites and what she has been saying will not be endorsed by any reasonable politician,” Dacic told TV Happy, recalling that “Biden was in the U.S. administration when the agreement was signed.”

Dacic further said he was not even sure that Brussels would exhibit a political will for annulling the agreement, adding that all the documents signed had to be implemented as nothing had been signed only “to make a spectacle.”

He also said that European Parliament Rapporteur for Kosovo Viola von Cramon-Taubadel should say why the recent elections in Kosovo had been held without international observers, because “it turns out that Kosovo is the personification of democracy.”
