36 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours raising the total number of fatalities to 5,075.
According to the March 25 figures of the Institute for Public Health of Serbia, 5,266 new cases of infection have been registered among 17,530 tested people. There are 6,577 covid patients in hospitals, 242 of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, 3,330,762 people have been tested and 571,895 were positive for the virus.
Immunologist Srdja Jankovic stated on March 25 that the next session of the Crisis Headquarters would be held soon, to consider the measures for the next week, and added that he saw no conditions for any kind of easing of measures at this time.
