Kosovo and Serbia will respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while Kosovo’s North will be an autonomous region, it is said in the alleged non-paper, published by Pristina daily Koha Ditore.
According to the document, the Serbian Orthodox Church should be granted a special status, while the town of Mitrovica should be a common economic zone, N1 reported on April 27, citing the Pristina daily.
The document also envisages the implementation of all so far achieved agreements, while a final deal should be reached by February 2022.
The daily also said it had received a document, referred to as non-paper, prepared by Germany and France in what is the two countries’ join initiative for the resumption of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and its conclusion with a final arrangement.
Koha Ditore could not verify the authenticity of the document, but wrote that several diplomats the daily has spoken with had confirmed that the items mentioned in the document were more or less in line with what had been discussed in the dialogue.
