Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on July 24 that he could not say "with one hundred percent certainty" that he would not run in the next presidential election in Serbia, but that he had yet to reach a decision.
"I would like to see Serbia in safe hands in the future and not in the hands of those who destroyed and devastated it, but I cannot say with one hundred percent certainty that I will not run, precisely because of the results of a poll that I have received," Vucic said in an interview with Pink TV.
In the same interview, the president said that an indictment against Veljko Belivuk's group, suspected of the most heinous crimes, would be "a masterpiece."
When asked if the investigation would be expanded to include civil servants connected to the Belivuk group, who had also protected the clan, Vucic said "let their be no doubt about it." "The investigation is underway, no one can stop it and it will be conducted to the very end and no one will be spared," Vucic said.
