27 Die From Coronavirus in Serbia, 1,268 Newly Infected

27 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 12,488, it was announced on Dec. 22.

According to figures of the Institute for the Public Health of Serbia, 1,268 new cases of infection were confirmed among 14,808 samples. There are 2,208 covid patients in hospitals, 103 of them on ventilators.

Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia, 7,107,851 people have been tested and 1,286,025 were positive for the virus.
