Nine Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 2,170 Newly Infected

Nine more people died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, and the death toll of the epidemic now stands at 15,696, it was announced on March 21 in a post on the covid19.rs website.

Out of 15,678 samples tested in the same time frame, 2,170 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Hospital care is being provided for 805 COVID patients, 45 of whom require assisted ventilation.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, 9,042,330 samples have been tested, 1,957,450 of which were positive for the virus.
