The coronavirus pandemic has in some way resulted in increased anxiety and depression in 92 percent of Serbian students, which is a consequence of less time spent with friends and decreased socialization, a poll conducted by students of the Faculty of Political Sciences has shown.

More than a third of participants in the poll titled "Students' Opinions on the Post-COVID-19 Period" said that the pandemic had caused a change in their daily routine, rating it four on a scale of one to five, whereas a small percentage replied that it had caused no change at all.

"Just 20 percent of the students said that fear of the pandemic had been the biggest problem for them," which indicates that young people were not too afraid of getting infected, the poll's authors said.

Where classes are concerned, a third of the respondents said they found the mixed (hybrid) model adequate, while a smaller percentage said they preferred online classes.
