Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a two-day visit to Serbia on June 6 and 7 and will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and other officials, Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on June 3.
"The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will visit the Republic of Serbia on June 6 and 7. Meetings with the president of the country, minister of foreign affairs, speaker of the National Assembly and patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church are planned," she said.
According to her, the interlocutors are expected to thoroughly discuss matters of bilateral political and economic cooperation and exchange opinions on the situation in the Balkan region and on current international issues.
