The parliamentary election process has been completed and the 30-day period for holding a constituent parliament meeting when mandates of new MPs will be confirmed will be counted from the afternoon on July 5, Serbian Election Commission President Vladimir Dimitrijevic has said.
“A meeting of the Election Commission has been scheduled and we will make a final report on election results and submit it to the parliament,” Dimitrijevic has told state public broadcaster RTS.
Dimitrijevic has recalled that the election process is now complete after the voting has been repeated several times at a polling station in Veliki Trnovac, in the Bujanovac municipality.
Dimitrijevic has specified that the deadline for holding a constituent parliament meeting is Aug. 4, after which MPs will have 90 days to elect a new Serbian government.
